国画家石齐 Traditional Chinese Painter  Shi Qi

　　石齐　1939年出生，福建人。中国画人物、花鸟、山水、书法、油画精通。曾荣获世界和平奖（联合国教科文组织发布）。1963年毕业于厦门工艺美术学院。现为北京画院专业画家、北京画院艺委会副主任，中国美协会员、北京美协理事，北京市高级职称（美术）评委，国家一级画家 （教授）。代表作品《迎春》《霸王别姬》《人人都在幸福中》 等，出版多部《石齐画集》。

      ShiQi, a Chinese artist, comments in the office of the ShiQi Research Association located in Beijing's Sanlitun district that, oil painting can be displayed in three forms -- representationalism, abstractionism and impressionism. While incorporating these three forms or modes of expression into one work is ShiQi's pursuit in the future.  

      Through decades of knowledge acquisition and study, artistShiQi has acquired a deep understanding of the essence of the three forms. Having made reference to a large number of successful paintings created by both Chinese artists and artists from abroad, he has incorporated these three modes of expression into his own works, forming his own unique painting style. ShiQi named this unique painting style as "incorporating the concrete, the abstract and the impressionist".

     The following oil painting is an earlier work of ShiQi combining the three forms. The artist looks forward to seeing innovative counterparts who would like to create such a work of art.
